可塑性高的磁簧開關接腳,可彎腳成型,而不會損壞玻璃管,扁平的玻璃管及接腳,提供更大的銲錫區域,及更精確的接合點。硬度極高的銣金屬(Ruthenium)接點,提供更穩定的接點阻抗,及更長的使用壽命,並且在接點處有特殊處理,可防止簧片黏著的問題,是最理想的傳統開關替代品。
